HISTORY

18/09/11

The Wogans spent the weekend shooting their ad for the Reed Competition. This involved Adam bursting through a solid wall (twice) and having a suit magically rip from his body, Justin transforming into a rock drummer complete with full head make up, and Chris transforming into his own self. The deadline for the ad is the end of the month so keep an eye out for further news.

Shortlisted!

Our cheeky short film FIRST PRESS has amazingly been nominated for the prestigious Virgin Media Short Film award.

This means it will now be featured on Virgin On Demand and shown in over 200 cinemas. The top prize of £30,000 will be judged by a panel of top film industry types including JOHN HURT and PAUL GREENGRASS.

The standard of the competition is extremely high and we doubt we have much chance of winning the 30k but with your help we might just win The Peoples Choice Award.

21/07/11

Hot off the back of their People's Choice Award, The Wogans have been invited to make a 30 second TV advert for an invitation only competition run by Reed. The winning advert with will £10,000 and be broadcast of the telly. Watch this space for our entry....

Winners!

The Wogans celebrated winning the People's Choice Award for their entry for the Reed Film Competition. Winning the public vote won us £1000, an engraved crystal from Superman's Ice Palace (as seen in Superman II and Jon's hand) and the plaudits of James and Nicola Reed, the top dogs of the multi million pound recruitment company.

The awards were presented by renowned director Paul Weiland, director of City Slickers II and the Gary Lineker Walkers ads, who told us unofficially that ours was his favourite entry.

The £10,000 prize went to Spread The Word, an epic movie featuring a virtual cast of thousands. Second place went to the beautiful Starcrossed, and we were delighted that Peter Smith won Best Animation for his awesome film Social Security, which he made using just the compact camera with which he took the above photo.

All the finalists can be seen on www.reed.co.uk/film, and our film is also in the media section.

Mrs Reed is seen here holding a cardboard cutout of Mat who missed the start of the awards due to a prior engagement, but still managed to make it in time for the free booze.
